We're looking for a Payroll Officer to join a welcoming FMCG business in Newport. If you enjoy payroll work, being part of a supportive team, and ensuring colleagues are paid accurately and on time, this could be a perfect fit.
With fewer than 100 employees, you'll manage a weekly payroll that's straightforward but rewarding.
The Role
As Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for day to day payroll processing and ensuring the team is paid accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing weekly payroll using Sage Payroll
* Managing starters, leavers, and changes in collaboration with HR
* Ensuring compliance with HMRC, pensions, and statutory payments
* Responding to payroll queries in a friendly, professional way
* Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
About You
* Experience in payroll, ideally using Sage
* Approachable, collaborative, and able to work independently
* Comfortable in a team environment
