Central London
Hybrid – 3 days in office
Up to £28k + attractive benefits package
We’re delighted to be supporting a global leader in the music industry in the search for a Copyright Assistant. Based in a vibrant Central London office with a hybrid working model, this role offers an excellent opportunity to start or grow a career in copyright and music publishing.
This position is ideal for someone with some exposure to copyright or royalties, whether through previous roles, internships, or academic projects, who is eager to develop their expertise in rights management and publishing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Register new works and maintain accurate copyright data across internal systems
* Liaise with collection societies, PROs, and international partners on copyright matters
* Handle queries from internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
* Support disputes, counterclaims, and other copyright-related administration
* Assist with data reporting, audits, and ongoing metadata management
* Collaborate with A&R, legal, royalties, and international colleagues to ensure copyright accuracy
The Ideal Candidate:
* Some exposure to copyright, royalties, or metadata in the music industry (through work, internship, or study)
* Passion for the music industry!
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
* Familiarity with music copyright or royalty systems is an advantage
