Assistant Investigator – Brimingham – £32,050 – £37,700 – Permanent
The Role
* Work a caseload of alerts from various proactive fraud identification systems with a view to determining the causation of the alert, minimising further loss and seeking recovery where possible.
* Updating and entering all investigative actions and recommendations to third party systems.
* Managing in a timely manner an allocated caseload (appropriate to experience) of investigations relating to alleged unethical behaviour.
* Collaborating with other investigatory, compliance, audit and law enforcement bodies, both internally and externally.
* Collating and producing reports highlighting and demonstrating the CBFE team's performance that will be used both internally and externally.
Requirements
* Communicate effectively at different levels and provide concise and professional advice to the required audience.
* Ability to conduct compliance/ethics or fraud investigations.
* Effectively interpret and evaluate information gathered during investigations, drawing conclusions in relation to offences/breaches and provide recommendations.
* Produce and present information to a variety of stakeholders, whilst enabling succinct investigation reports to be produced with minimal amendment.
* Experience conducting interviews of both suspect and witness, as well as taking statements.
* Experience of investigation report writing resulting from internal HR investigations / criminal investigations, and the identification of lessons learned and recommendations.
