The Role
We are recruiting a Technical Analyst to join the Asset Management Team within eHealth Operations. The position requires hands‑on installation and maintenance of IT equipment across all GGC sites, support of the service desk, and regular site travel.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities
* Installation of IT equipment across all GGC sites
* Scheduling, building and delivering requested equipment
* Managing IT helpdesk tickets
* Updating systems with all relevant information
* Prioritising and managing workload
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to service desk calls allocated to the referral group
* Take forward installations, moves and changes, and site audits as required
* Maintain configuration management database and documentation related to the service area
* Perform routine administration tasks, including account management, software licence management, and strict monitoring of anti‑virus software
* Carry out hardware and software upgrades, device rebuilds, and data destruction
* Carry out any other reasonable and appropriate duties as required from time to time
* Ensure a safe working environment and safe work systems
Qualifications
* HNC level or equivalent, or equivalent experience in the relevant specialist area
* Appreciation of the business requirements of the NHS and strong customer relation skills
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
* Location: Dava Street
* Permanent contract
* Full‑time position (36 hours per week)
* Shift pattern Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00

Work‑Life Balance and Flexible Working
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part‑time working hours will be reduced on a pro‑rated basis, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate to keep overall pay unchanged.
