We are seeking skilled and dedicated Assessors to join our team to evaluate learners in two specialist areas:
* Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems (Non-Refrigerant Circuits)
* Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings

About the Qualifications
* Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems (Non-Refrigerant Circuits): For individuals from a heating background to demonstrate knowledge in the installation and maintenance of air and ground source heat pump systems, certificated by BPEC and LCL Awards, aligned with industry standards and MCS requirements.
* Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings: Enables learners to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and competency in domestic electrical work, including health and safety, planning, installation, inspection, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Role Overview
As an Assessor, you will:
* Evaluate learners against the qualification standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and BPEC/LCL guidance.
* Provide constructive feedback to support learner development.
* Maintain accurate records of learner assessments and outcomes.
* Stay up to date with regulatory, technical, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
* Heat Pump Systems Assessor:
* Minimum NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or Heating & Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent.
* Current assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
* Qualification in the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems (e.g., BPEC Level 3 Award or equivalent).
* Valid Water Regulations / Water Byelaws qualification or equivalent.
* Domestic Electrical Assessor:
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* Current assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
* Qualification in the installation and maintenance of electrical installations in dwellings (e.g., LCL Awards Level 3 Certificate or equivalent).
* Valid Water Regulations / Water Byelaws qualification or equivalent.
Experience:
* Heat Pump Systems: Demonstrable experience in installation and maintenance of air and/or ground source heat pump systems.
Skills (Both Roles):
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
* Familiarity with the relevant qualification specifications (BPEC for Heat Pump Systems; LCL Awards for Electrical).
* Understanding of Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standards.
* Knowledge of current industry regulations and best practices.
* Domestic Electrical: Demonstrable experience in domestic electrical installations.
* Previous experience in assessing vocational qualifications is desirable for both roles.
