SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford in their search for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting pupils with speech and language needs, helping them build confidence and reach their full potential.
The Role
In this role, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with speech and language difficulties
* Work collaboratively with the SENCo, class teachers, and external specialists to deliver targeted interventions
* Help create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Monitor progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Play a key role in supporting pupils’ communication, learning, and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
* Has experience supporting children with speech and language needs (essential)
* Is patient, empathetic, and proactive in their approach
* Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Holds relevant SEN training or qualifications (desirable)
* Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
