Sports Content Lead (Social Media)

We’re Socialtrend, a social media agency working across sports, gaming and entertainment.
We’re launching and scaling a UK focused sports media account across X, Instagram and TikTok, and are looking for someone to take ownership of the day to day content and growth.
This is a hands on role focused on running a high volume, fast paced social media account. The account is already established with branding and direction in place, your role is to execute, grow and scale it.
What you’ll be doing
* Running a large UK focused sports media account across X, Instagram and TikTok
* Creating and posting content daily, including reactive content around live sporting events
* Identifying trends, formats and moments to drive engagement and growth
* Managing high volume posting across platforms
* Testing content formats and doubling down on what performs
* Working with the team to integrate influencers and original content into the account
* Supporting the development of original content formats, including studio based content over time
What we’re looking for
* Strong interest in football and UK sport is essential
* Experience running social media accounts or creating content at scale
* Comfortable posting high volumes of content daily
* Fast thinking and reactive to live events and trends
* Hands on with content creation (editing, posting, formatting)
* Understands what performs on X, Instagram and TikTok
* Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Nice to have (not essential)
* Experience working within sports, betting or media
* Experience growing or running your own social media pages
* Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc)
Location & working setup
* 2 days per week in our Sowerby Bridge office
* 3 days working from home
* Must be able to commute reliably
