The role:
1. Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in line with road laws and company policies
2. Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections as scheduled
3. Load and unload goods (manual handling may be required)
4. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
5. Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
6. Maintain high standards of customer service
7. Comply with driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations
8. Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy
The successful candidate:
9. Full UK driving licence with Class 2 / Cat C licence
10. Valid Driver CPC
11. Digital Tachograph Card
12. Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles (preferred)
13. Good knowledge of local routes and road networks
14. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
15. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
