We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Forklift Operator role
Salary: £28,457.52 per annum + shift allowance £3288.96
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Working 4 on 4 off, rotational days and nights
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator
Diagnose and report faults on packaging machinery
Work to production targets
Remove completed pallets from Production Lines and load trucks using a forklift truck
Complete stitcher checks
Label and wrap pallets ready for dispatch and make sure all products that are packed are formatted correctly with correct labels.
Pack on production lines when necessary
Requirements for a successful Forklift Operator
Valid counterbalance forklift license
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong IT skills with experience using Excel
