Job Title: PE Support Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you enjoy supporting physical education and helping students stay active, confident, and engaged in sports? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Physical Education (PE) Support staff member to work in Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, assisting the PE department in delivering energetic and engaging sports sessions. As a PE Support, you will work alongside PE teachers to support lessons, help organise sports activities, and encourage students to participate in physical education in a positive and inclusive environment. Main Responsibilities: Support the PE teacher in delivering structured and engaging PE lessons. Assist with setting up and organising sports equipment and facilities. Encourage student participation and promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Provide support to individual students or small groups during activities. Help maintain a safe and positive environment during physical activities. Requirements of PE Support: Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable. A strong interest in sports, physical education, or fitness. Good communication and teamwork skills. A positive and energetic approach when working with students.
