Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Southend
Remuneration: £38,000 p/a
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 37 hours per week
Contract Details: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines, including Bridgeport and Haas models.
* Work with materials like aluminium & stainless steel.
* Coordinate programming and setting activities with existing team members.
* Conduct inspections to ensure quality.
* Reduce scrap and report efficiencies to the Production Manager.
* Maintain machine efficiency to meet On Time Deliveries and KPIs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a clean working environment.
Core Skills/Attributes Needed
* Proficient in programming, setting, and running CNC mills.
* Ability to set using Fanuc controls on a 3 and 4 axis mill.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Excellent measurement skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong team player with effective communication skills.
