An exciting opportunity has become available for a Growth Hub Specialist – Life Sciences to join our team on a full-time basis. The role offers a competitive salary of £45,718–£49,764 per annum, depending on experience.
The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority collaborates with local councils, the Business Board (Local Enterprise Partnership), public services, government departments, universities, and businesses to grow the local and national economy.

About the role:
To drive the delivery of the strategic growth of the Life Sciences sector within the CPCA to achieve inclusive and sustainable economic growth across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify and secure funding opportunities to support Life Sciences growth in the region.
* Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations to implement the Sector Strategic Action Plan.
* Build strategic relationships with government departments to attract funding and support sector growth.
* Support inward investment inquiries related to the sector.
* Collaborate with the Skills Team to define sector workforce needs and facilitate connections.
What we are looking for:
* Lead the review and revision of the current Life Sciences Strategy and Action Plan.
* Provide a strategic view of sector growth potential and funding opportunities.
* Analyze sector needs to prioritize projects and support programs.
* Engage with government bodies to influence and bid for funding.
* Develop networks with Life Sciences organizations and support joint initiatives.
* Manage relationships with local authorities and maximize investment potential.
* Identify and articulate sector talent and skills needs.
* Lead cross-directorate programs supporting sector growth.
