As a global leader in Civil Aviation training, our Business Aviation Training Division is undergoing an exciting period of expansion, and we now have several full-time openings for Synthetic Flight Instructors based out of our Burgess Hill (West Sussex) Training Centre.
The role we are offering you
We are looking for instructors to join us across various platforms including Falcon, Gulfstream, Citation, and Challenger. We will build upon your existing experience as an aviation professional and transform you into a world-class Synthetic Flight Instructor and subject matter expert, ready to lead clients through their training – all with the added benefit of spending less time away from home.
You will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. Additionally, some classroom-based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with state-of-the-art synthetic training equipment and the latest aircraft technologies.
Our ideal candidate has
* Held a UK, EASA, or ICAO equivalent licence
* 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time OR 500 hours or more SP hours
* Recent instructional experience – TRI/TRE/SFI/SFE desirable and/or teaching experience
* Previous experience operating within a business aviation environment on the platforms mentioned above is highly desirable but not essential
* A keen eye for detail in training delivery – willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements
* Ability to tailor training sessions to diverse customer needs
* Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
* High-level English reading, speaking, and conversational skills
* Flexibility to commit to a 5-day-on / 2-days-off work pattern
* Residency within a 1-hour drive (30 miles) of Burgess Hill or arrangements to stay locally
* The right to live and work in the UK or EU

Location
The role is based at our Burgess Hill Training Centre, requiring onsite presence five days a week. Please note that a training bond applies, with the level determined by previous experience and ratings.
