Assembly Operative

Rate: £13.00ph - £15.00ph

Location: Orpington

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday – 08:00am – 16:30pm

Overview

Proactive are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operative to start work immediately. This temporary‑to‑permanent position is with a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance AV Frames. You will work as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

You will be required to perform mechanical assembly tasks, follow assembly instructions, operate hand tools and test equipment, and ensure attention to detail to meet production objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

• Assembly of parts and components
• Use of various hand tools
• Ability to read engineering diagrams
• Use of various test equipment
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment

Additional preference for quick learners with good dexterity who can follow clear instructions.
