Salary: Competitive and in line with industry guidelines up to £50,000 per annum

The Role
Reporting to the Head of IT, the Software Developer will be responsible for applications development and support the full range of software development, as well as any other related IT tasks as needed. The post-holder will have no budget responsibilities and will work closely with the IT Project and Business Analyst and Academic Systems Manager to manage all aspects of software development and delivery. They should be able to develop and support the following business functions:
Software Development
Software Support
Software Change Management
Skills and Qualifications
Software development, deployment of new systems to replace obsolete software including optimisation of data visualisations for analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, C#, ASP.NET, PHP and Power Automate/BI
Web design and data analysis (CSS/PHP/HTML/JavaScript/ASP.NET)
Designing and implementing API for data exchange (XML/JSON)
IT development standards, including documentation and change control
Software support for systems created and inherited
Knowledge of iSAMS, SSRS and Dax (Desirable)
Knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365 (Desirable)
Knowledge of systems integration (Desirable)
