Job Description: Receptionist Bupa Health Centre, Clapham Junction, London, SW11 1TT (occasional requirement to work across other London clinics) £29,300 per annum, plus fantastic benefits Permanent. At our Bupa Clapham Health Centre, our receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and the satisfaction of our patients. As the first point of contact, the receptionist sets the tone for the entire patient experience, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They efficiently manage appointments, handle inquiries, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care. Their organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial in maintaining accurate patient records and facilitating seamless communication within the team. By embodying professionalism and compassion, our receptionist helps create a positive and supportive environment, making every visit to Bupa Clapham Health Centre a pleasant and reassuring experience. You’ll help us make health happen by: Working on reception as front of house, greeting customers and helping make their appointment as smooth and friendly as possible Support our clinical staff with preparation of client files and scanning documents, giving them the time to dedicate to their patients Perform day to day admin to assist with the operation of the site such as post, answering calls, emails, managing card transactions, invoices and delivery notes Liaise with clinical colleagues to ensure that client reports and correspondence are issued within required timeframes Ensure our facilities are well presented and provide a welcoming environment, resolving or escalating any issues when required Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: A background in a medical setting would be an advantage Proven experience delivering exceptional, client focused customer service in person Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, able to quickly build rapport and put people at ease Great time management and flexibility as you’ll need to switch tasks and support where needed throughout your shift Excellent attention to detail, with computing skills and an understanding of the various Microsoft office packages Well organised, reliable and proactive attitude Benefits: Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
