We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Leeds that’s looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team this September. If you’ve got a calm approach and a big heart for helping young people thrive—you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting students with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD)
* Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups
* Helping students access the curriculum and build confidence
* Using tailored strategies to support communication, focus, and social interaction
* Working closely with the SENCO and wider team to deliver consistent support
You’ll be great if you have:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* A calm, adaptable, and positive approach
* Great listening and communication skills
* A real passion for inclusion and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
