Job Title: Spiral Operative / Relief Warehouse Operative
Department & Location: Northfleet, Kent
Reports to: Branch & Regional Operations Manager
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch

Within this role you will produce spirally wound tube of the highest quality using the onsite Spiral Forming machine ensuring that all lock seams are 'tight', that 'end treatment' renders the product safe to handle and the product complies with the Company’s specification and tolerances. You will ensure that stocks of standard sizes are adequately maintained, and that there is constant liaison with the sales office / Branch Manager (BM) to ensure that all special requirements and project orders are met.
You will also provide relief warehouse duties including receiving and accurately processing all goods-in, storing away goods for stocks pick/packing goods for dispatch and loading/unloading vehicles.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role. A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable and it would be advantageous for you to have previously operated a forklift, reach and counterbalance.
