Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical EngineerLocation: HorshamSalary: Up to £40,876 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 17:30Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs quickly
* Support installation work and minor maintenance on plant equipment
* Maintain high levels of equipment availability and performance
* Assist in developing maintenance schedules and continuous improvements
* Liaise with contractors and internal teams to minimise downtime
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
What Were Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role (or similar)
* Experience working in an operational or plant-based environment (e.g. waste, water, manufacturing)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
* A proactive and team-focused approach
