A leading and well-established M&E contractor, delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across the commercial and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, the company is now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team.
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the tendering and pre-construction process, working on electrical projects valued up to £4 million. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of commercial and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates from drawings and specifications
* Analyse tender documents and identify project requirements
* Produce take-offs and pricing for materials, labour, and subcontractors
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams during the tender process
* Evaluate risks and opportunities within each tender
* Ensure all submissions are completed on time and to a high standard
* Support the pre-construction and project delivery teams as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E or building services sector
* Experience tendering projects up to £4 million
* Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
* 2+ years as an Electrical Estimator
