Radiographer for Sheffield £39,873 (dependent on experience) We are seeking a skilled (Industrial/ Fabrications/ Weld) Radiographer to join our team to work in a dynamic environment where precision and expertise are valued. You will be responsible for conducting high-quality radiography on welded steel components, interpreting radiographs and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities for Industrial Radiographer: - Conduct radiography of welded steel components as an Industrial Radiographer - Interpret radiographs and identify defects, ensuring accuracy. - Report inspection results and document non-conformance. - Perform non-routine and complex tasks with minimal supervision. - Apply local management system documentation (policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, etc) - Support the Quality Management team in planned tasks and non-conformance verification. - Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders. - Write accurate reports and presentations, ensuring clarity in Radiography findings. - Represent the department at local Quality reviews. Essential Skills & Experience as Radiographer: Qualifications: - NC or HNC in a relevant technical discipline (or equivalent experience). - PCN Level 2 Radiography (RT - Radiographic Testing) in Welds. - RPS PCN qualification / Advanced Radiation Safety Certification Expertise: - Strong understanding and application of IRR 2017 regulations in radiography. - Ability to interpret weld defects through radiography and NDT techniques. - Skilled in writing radiographic techniques.
