Overview
We are currently looking for a Fully Qualified Tutor in Bridlington, or the surrounding areas, to provide support to students across a variety of age groups who are disengaged from education. We are seeking a compassionate, patient and enthusiastic individual who genuinely wants to promote the best in every student they work with.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to students across a variety of age groups who are disengaged from education.
* Promote and encourage positive learning, and motivate students to engage with their studies.
* Travel to tuition locations as needed (driver's license preferred).
Pay and Travel
The pay rate for a tutor ranges from £25-£30 per hour, dependant on experience, roles and the demands of the student. A driver’s license is ideally required as travel may be necessary depending on where tuition takes place.
Requirements
* A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.
* Excellent grasp and understanding of the English Language.
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
* Strong subject knowledge of the specialism and curriculum of your choice.
* Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.
* GCSE delivery experience (Desirable) and UK Delivery experience (Essential).
* Professional references from two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
