Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
* Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and safe learning environment
* Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and any issues that arise
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a teacher in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
* Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of school settings
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in school classrooms
* Follow the school's timetable and daily schedule
* Potential for travel to different schools within the region
* Collaborate with school staff and support the overall educational goals of the institution

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
