As we continue to grow our Healthcare division, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead delivery across our health estate portfolio. The Role You will take ownership of mechanical contracts across our WHSCT Healthcare Sites, managing the full lifecycle from programming and resource allocation through to delivery, quality assurance, and client relationship management. This is a high-visibility role requiring someone who can operate confidently in live healthcare environments and manage complex, compliance-driven workstreams. You will lead a team of mechanical operatives and subcontractors, working closely with our commercial, surveying, and operations functions to ensure contracts are delivered on time, on budget, and to the standards required within the health estate. Key responsibilities Manage the full delivery of mechanical contracts across healthcare sites, including planned maintenance, reactive works, and minor capital projects Lead, manage, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and financial position, producing reports for clients and senior management Ensure full compliance with HTM guidance, Health & Safety legislation, and all relevant regulatory requirements for healthcare environments Build and maintain strong relationships with Trust estates teams and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact Identify and develop opportunities for additional works and contract growth within existing client relationships Oversee risk, permit-to-work systems, and COSHH requirements across all live healthcare sites Requirements Proven experience in Mechanical Contracts Management, ideally within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment Strong working knowledge of HTM standards and healthcare estate compliance Relevant mechanical qualification Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors Full UK driving licence Skills: M&E Project Management Distribution plant Management Mechanical Building Services Heating Systems Infection Control Steam Systems Team Work Benefits: Competitive Package
