Role Overview: The role of Environmental Officer at Alternative Heat involves supporting an industry leader in the energy-saving sector that delivers prefabricated mechanical and electrical solutions for data centre and decarbonisation projects across Europe. The position focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001, ensuring daily environmental compliance, monitoring performance, and driving continual environmental improvement. The officer will ensure adherence to environmental legislation across all operating regions, maintain environmental registers, and promote a strong culture of sustainability within teams and projects. Working closely with the HSE Senior Compliance Manager, project teams, and clients, the role also involves acting as the main environmental liaison for company facilities, providing guidance and support through regular site engagement.
