The Driver / Porter is a multi-skilled hospitality team member responsible for guest transportation, luggage handling, meeting and event setup support, and breakfast service assistance. This role plays a key part in delivering a smooth guest experience by providing safe transport, efficient operational support, and friendly, professional service across hotel departments. Job Description Main Tasks · Safely transport our guests from the hotel to the local airport and heliports near- by. · Maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy while interacting with guests. · Ensure vehicle is clean, fuelled, and well-maintained at all times. · Follow all traffic laws and hotel safety policies · Assist guests with boarding, luggage handling, and directions when required · Ensure the hotel lobby/corridors and outside areas are kept clean and tidy · Handle guest requests promptly and professionally · Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces. · Arrange furniture, equipment, signage, and supplies according to event requirements · Support event teams during conferences, meetings, and functions as needed · Ensure meeting and event areas are clean, organized, and guest-read · Assist with breakfast setup, service, and clearing tables · Replenish buffet items and maintain cleanliness of breakfast areas · Support kitchen and food & beverage teams during peak breakfast periods · Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards · Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to hotel grooming standards · Work collaboratively with all hotel departments · Assist with other operational tasks as assigned · Comply with hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and service standards · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record · Previous experience in hospitality, transport, or customer service preferred Person Specification • Genuine passion for delivering memorable moments to guests • Positive approach to changing service environments and priorities • Pro-active with a hands-on approach to deliver consistent results • Embrace the Leonardo Hotels’ Guest Care culture; be empowered to work on your own initiative • Friendly team player with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with others • A confident communicator willing to make suggestions for improvements, and open to feedback from colleagues • Engaged with hotel initiatives to support the local community • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Previous experience in hospitality, transport, or customer service preferred Measurable Performance Indicators • Demonstrating the Company vision, mission and values when interacting with colleagues and guests • Customer reviews • Achieving agreed KPIs • Fulfilment of the job skills checklist • Customer satisfaction scores e.g. Booking.com • Regular review meetings with line manager Available Ongoing Learning • GROWonline BELONG induction and development courses • Academy Technical skills training • Team Coach • ‘Come Join Us’ Guest Care training • Opportunity to apply for internal development programmes, such as: o Junior Chef Development programme o Graduate programme o Level 2 Apprenticeships in Hospitality NOTE: The learning opportunities listed above are correct at the time of issue and are subject to change.
