Overview
Role: Sessional Support Worker in RCT. Location: RCT. Hours: part time (minimum 10 hours per week) or full time (up to 40 hours per week); shift pattern could include weekends. Contract: Permanent.
Base pay range
Salary: £12.74 per hour. Sleep-in shifts at £60 per night. Travel expenses paid at 45p per mile.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals within the community, helping them develop and maintain daily living skills, prepare meals, and access local facilities and activities. All support will be tailored to meet each individual\'s unique needs, promoting independence, inclusion and overall wellbeing.
As a trusted Support Worker, you\'ll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.
Your goal is to make everyday remarkable through enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. This is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.

* Have patience and empathy.
* Can support a person with intimate personal care with respect and dignity.
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people.
* Have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning.
* Have a full driving licence - essential for transporting individuals to appointments and activities.
