Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing market strategies, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth. Daily tasks will include visiting customers with technical solutions for fans, motors, and switches. The successful candidate will be based in Central/North England with a strong focus on visiting customers.
Qualifications
* Strong market research and analysis skills
* Technical qualification in electrical or electronics (or experience)
* Experience managing project-type business
* Experience in business development
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Technical expertise in fans, motors, and switches
* Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets
* Ability to work independently and remotely
* Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is a plus
* Experience in design related to fans, thermal management, or cooling products is an advantage
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
* Ability to help solve customer problems, thinking beyond specific components to systems or solutions
* A track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets
* Experience with CRM systems, e.g., Salesforce
