Overview
We’re looking for caring, energetic and motivated people to join our team supporting four amazing ladies who live together in a welcoming bungalow with a beautiful garden in Stourbridge (Dudley).
About the ladies
All four ladies are wheelchair users with complex health needs, and each has a wonderful personality and unique interests. They love spending time at home, enjoying their garden, and going out into the community for activities, social events and new experiences.
Responsibilities
* Support daily living – Assist with personal care, mobility, eating and drinking, and health needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
* Enjoy activities together – Accompany the ladies on trips out, whether that’s a coffee in town, shopping, a day out in the community, or enjoying the garden at home.
* Encourage independence – Help each person to make choices, develop skills and take part in meaningful activities.
* Promote wellbeing – Offer companionship, encouragement and emotional support so that each lady feels valued and included.
* Work in partnership – Build strong, positive relationships with families and professionals to ensure the best possible support.
What we offer
You don’t need previous experience in care – what matters most are the right values, compassion and a genuine desire to help others. We’ll provide full training and ongoing support.
This is a genuinely rewarding role where you will make a real difference in the lives of four inspiring women every day.
Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Benefits of working with Creative Support include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days Annual Leave and company paid enhanced DBS.
