Customer Service Representative - £15 - £16 per hour - Slough - 3-month contract
We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused individual to join our clients team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their questions are answered promptly and their issues are resolved efficiently. You'll play a key role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and supporting the company's reputation for excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media in a professional and timely manner
2. Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause, and finding effective solutions
3. Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems
4. Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure full resolution
5. Provide information on products, services, and company policies
6. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary
7. Gather customer feedback and share insights with management for service improvement
8. Support team goals and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment
Skills & Qualifications:
9. Previous experience in a customer service or client support role (1-2 years preferred)
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
12. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
13. High level of attention to detail and accuracy
14. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace)
15. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
