As our Learning and Development Trainer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping the knowledge and skills of our talented workforce. Based in our Manchester office, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and deliver captivating training programs covering topics such as Customer Service, Product and Management training – to name but a few! What will I be doing?
Training Program Design:
1. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify training needs.
2. Create comprehensive training plans aligned with business objectives.
3. Develop engaging content, including e-learning modules, workshops, and reference materials.
Delivery of Training:
4. Conduct interactive training sessions for employees, both in-person and virtually.
5. Utilise various training methods, such as classroom instruction, webinars, and hands-on workshops.
6. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge retention.
Continuous Improvement:
7. Gather feedback from participants and adjust training materials as needed.
8. Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programs.
9. Monitor training effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
10. Collaboration and Communication:
11. Work closely with department heads, managers, and team leads to understand specific training requirements, performing skills gap analysis techniques
12. Communicate training schedules, updates, and resources effectively to all employees.
Learning Management System (LMS) Responsibility:
13. Collaborate with content creators to upload and organise learning materials.
14. Curate and update course content, certifications, and learning paths.
15. Ensure content is relevant, accurate, and up-to-date.
16. Generate reports on learner progress, completion rates, and engagement
What will I bring to the role?
17. Significant experience in a similar role working in an inhouse L&D team.
18. Experience of designing and delivering engaging and interactive training events to a high standard, in-line with company branding and tone of voice.
19. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), instructional design principles, and adult learning theory.
20. Demonstratable experience of creating relevant content.
21. Experience of working in customer focussed and/or technical environments.
22. Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS).
23. Experience of working with 3rd party content providers.
What is needed to do the role?
24. Hold or achieve Certificate in Training Practice or NVQ level 3 in Training and Development or equivalent qualification (desirable).
25. Membership of CIPD (desirable).
26. Experience of producing training videos (desirable).
