The importance of your role.
This is a critical role within Care Services that will provide a single point of contact for care home customers, ensuring excellent customer care at all times, while leading the operational running of the Care Services pharmacy. This role offers a wide degree of autonomy and the chance to develop for future leadership opportunities.
What you’ll be doing day to day.
Your priorities will be planning the Care Services workload to ensure operational excellence. You will work in partnership with around 40 care homes, store teams, and GP surgeries to enable the delivery of outstanding care, supporting customer retention and growth. You’ll be the first point of contact for issues raised by care homes, resolving queries promptly. You will lead and plan the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, supporting dispensing duties such as labelling, priming, preparing MARR sheets, ordering, dispensing, endorsing, checking prescriptions, and collecting prescriptions. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Regional Business Manager to promote Boots within the local community and assist in signing up new business.
How will you do it?
You’ll be an excellent communicator, building relationships and networking effortlessly. You’ll excel at problem solving with a focus on customer satisfaction. Your time management skills will be exceptional, allowing you to plan and prioritise workloads effectively.
What you’ll need to have.
You must be a Pharmacy Technician with at least NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent); NVQ3 is preferred but not essential. A full driving licence is ideally held, as you will need to visit the care homes you support.
