An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a registered nurse to the Tuberculosis Nursing team to support in the management and control of Tuberculosis (TB). The successful candidate will need to demonstrate effective communication skills and be able to assist the team within the wider service remit in the control and prevention of TB. You will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute towards the delivery of expert TB care in the community, working in collaboration with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the UK Health Security Agency, the local authority, and voluntary sector organisations. The post holder will be expected to work in conjunction with the band 6 TB nurses assisting with caseload management for patients with non-complex standard tuberculosis, running nurse led TB screening clinics and a 'mop up' BCG vaccination service.

You will work within a dynamic and innovative culture that is focused on delivering quality patient care. The TB nursing service are a community-based team that deliver care both in the community (which includes lone working), and acute trust settings working across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
