Are you a Mechanical Fitter with a background in industrial machinery or similar, looking for a hands-on, full-time days based role with a stable company and optional overtime?
Join a solid established UK engineering firm building quality winding machines. Hands-on work, great team, real variety and machines shipped worldwide.
In this role, you'll assemble bespoke mechanical systems, working from engineering drawings. You'll work on a variety of machine builds involving pneumatics, hydraulics, and occasionally painting. Occasional UK and overseas travel may be required during machine commissioning.
This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter with a background in industrial machinery assembly, looking to join a friendly, growing team on a permanent basis.
THE ROLE:
Mechanical assembly of bespoke special purpose machinery
Work from engineering drawings to build complete systems
Assist with pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine finishing
Occasional UK and international travel for installations
Full-time, permanent role based on-site in BedfordTHE PERSON:
Mechanical Fitter or similar, with background in machine assembly
Experience with pneumatics/hydraulics and painting beneficial
