Patient Pathway Coordinator
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Patient Pathway Coordinator to support the Surgical Division at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The role involves liaising with clinicians and patients to agree dates for pre‑assessment and procedures/operations, canceling and rescheduling patient admissions where necessary. The post holder will manage waiting lists, schedule elective admissions, validate data and raise issues to the management team as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with clinicians and patients to agree pre‑assessment and procedure dates.
* Cancel and reschedule patient admissions when necessary.
* Manage waiting lists and schedule elective admissions.
* Validate data and raise issues to management.
* Engage confidently with patients and clinical teams.
Qualifications & Experience
* Organised, confident, able to multi‑task and prioritise work.
* Previous experience as a patient pathway coordinator or medical secretary.
* Working knowledge of Referral To Treatment (RTT) standards (training will be provided).
