Operations Coordinator
Location: Mid Kent (Office Based)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
A rare opening for an organised and pro-active trainee based in Mid Kent.
My client is looking for a confident and loyal individual who is willing to work both independently and within a team.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the processing purchasing orders for customers using an internal system, accurately managing and inputting data, checking for any errors as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to the commercial team.
A day in the life of an Operations Coordinator will include:
1. Monitor and update the programme of works, ensuring all live jobs are scheduled correctly, allocated to gangs, and supervision is assigned
2. Coordinate work allocation based on location, inductions, and client requests, while communicating gaps to CM’s and Sales to help fill availability
3. Manage changes including cancellations, material orders, and logistics updates, ensuring accurate communication across operations, suppliers, and daily diaries
4. Placing and raising purchase orders
5. Answering customer calls whilst providing exceptional customer service
6. Ensuring documentation is recorded and kept up to date
7. Offering comprehensive administrative support to the commercial team when needed
8. Any other duties as required
