Overview
My client is a Leading M&E Contractor who have been operating for over 50 years. Based out of 2 offices, they employ around 250 staff across the business and work closely with a lot of Blue-Chip Tier 1 Contractors. Due to growth, they are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join the team to be based out of their Essex office.
The Job – Electrical Quantity Surveyor
An opportunity for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost management for a busy M&E Sub-contractor based in Essex/London. The successful candidate will have good working knowledge and experience in Commercial Office Fit out, Infrastructure & refurbishment projects. A minimum of 3+ years Electrical Quantity Surveying experience with ONC, HNC, BSC or Similar in Quantity Surveying would be essential. Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. Location could be a mix of East London / Essex when required.
Responsibilities
* Financially managing Electrical contracts
* Managing and preparing monthly cost report
* Analyse of budgets and estimating changes where necessary
* Carrying out valuations and submitting applications to the client
* Producing Monthly Valuations for current Projects
* Preparation of Variation Quotations for Projects
* Preparation and presentation of Monthly Cost Reports
* Attending Client and Site meetings
Salary & Benefits
* £55,000 - £70,000
