Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Transactional Finance to lead our clients Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Payable teams within a fast‑paced, PE‑backed facilities management business. This role will report into to the Financial Controller, you’ll ensure strong processes, accurate outputs and effective cashflow management across all transactional activity.Key Responsibilities
* Lead the transactional finance function covering billing, credit control and AP.
* Directly manage a Senior Credit Controller, AP Supervisor and Billing Manager.
* Oversee invoicing accuracy, debtor performance, supplier payments and reconciliations.
* Maintain strong financial controls and ensure processes align with accounting principles.
* Drive improvements in efficiency, reporting and system use.
* Support month‑end close and provide insight to the Financial Controller.
* Collaborate with operational teams to resolve issues and improve end‑to‑end processes.
