About the Role
:
We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and highly organised individual to join our Learner Services team as a Learner Services Administrator. As well as encompassing the responsibilities of the general role of Learner Services Administrator, you will focus predominantly on processing bursaries, ensuring bursary applications are managed efficiently and in line with funding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a welcoming and supportive service to students enquiring about financial support.
2. Assist with bursary applications, checking eligibility, ensuring accurate completion, and processing documentation.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bursary schemes, eligibility criteria, and relevant policies.
4. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth processing of payments and student support.
5. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and compliance processes.
6. Promote bursary schemes through student communications and open days.
About You:
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
8. Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
9. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
10. A good understanding of the challenges faced by students in accessing education.
11. Previous experience in an educational or financial support setting is desirable but not essential.
