Student Opportunities Manager (Operations)
Full-time, fixed term (37 hours per week) for 13 months.
Location: Agile (York campus)
Salary: £34,610 to £39,906 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 4 Student Opportunities Coordinators and 2 interns to deliver high‑quality opportunities and maximize engagement, particularly from underrepresented groups.
* Act as Project Lead for the Turing Scheme (Global mobility programme) with responsibility for finance, reporting and compliance to support the delivery of programme objectives.
* Work closely with the Deputy Head of Student and Graduate Employability (Partnerships and Opportunities).
* Ensure the delivery of a wide range of opportunities, including global study abroad and short‑term programmes, internships, graduate roles, part‑time jobs, volunteering and work experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Confident line manager with proven project and financial management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
* Knowledge or experience of global mobility programmes is beneficial.
* Ability to manage finance, reporting, and compliance for large projects.
* Experience leading and motivating teams.
