At the heart of this position is collaboration — you will partner with sales teams, business development managers and senior engineers to craft tailored technical solutions that meet customer needs and align with broader business goals. You won’t just be designing components; you will be contributing to cutting-edge products that push boundaries in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Your role involves transforming technical requirements into concept designs and application notes that guide the integration of products into complex systems. With your strong mechanical engineering background and understanding of the NPI lifecycle, combined with electrical knowledge and experience with CAD software like CREO, you will play a vital part in bringing innovative ideas to life. Your work will include liaising with manufacturing to ensure solutions are practical and efficient while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
