About The Role

You are a commercially astute individual with a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach to delivering results. Whether you’ve gained experience through a degree or in a comparable work environment, you bring a confident grasp of procurement fundamentals and a track record of engaging with diverse stakeholders. You possess strong planning, organisation, and communication skills, and your Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office enable you to stay on top of complex data and workflows. You’re collaborative yet self-directed, meticulous in execution, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team within a dynamic and values-led organisation.
About You
As a Sub-Category Category Manager for Infrastructure, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing procurement and contract activities that support UCL’s Infrastructure & Operations portfolio. You’ll lead on projects and workstreams, build robust stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the delivery of our category strategy. This includes driving efficiencies, delivering value for money, and ensuring our suppliers meet high performance standards. From running tenders and negotiating contracts to resolving supplier issues and identifying new ways of working, your work will have a tangible impact on how UCL manages its commercial partnerships and achieves strategic outcomes.
