Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher for our outstanding school in Epsom. The successful candidate will join our innovative Design and Technology department, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5. This full-time, permanent role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons across various specialisms within Design Technology, such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Textiles.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating practical and inspiring lessons that foster creativity and technical skills.
* Maintaining a safe and resourceful workshop environment.
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
* Contributing to the development of the Design Technology curriculum.
Requirements:
* Qualified Design Technology Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree.
* Proven secondary teaching experience in Design Technology.
* Strong practical skills across relevant specialisms.
* Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
* Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
