Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day clerical support to Health Records, including Outpatients. Work Monday to Friday. Rotate through a variety of roles within the department as required. Prioritise and manage the day‑to‑day workload in a busy, physically and mentally challenging environment, working independently and as part of a team. The role involves a significant telephony component. Adhoc duties may be requested by Health Records Supervisors to maintain efficiency across the Outpatient service.
Qualifications
Educated to Standard Grade or equivalent with passes in English and Arithmetic. Good keyboard and typing skills, with the ability to work on one’s own initiative. Strong organisational and listening skills, flexible approach to working, and a high level of English language competency and communication skills are essential to perform this role safely and effectively.
