We’re recruiting a Design Manager for civil engineering and environmental contractor. They are a professional, slick business who specialise in projects such as new roads, roundabouts, bridges and bespoke marine work like sea defences, river embankment strengthening and wetland habitat construction. Their projects range up to £20m for local authorities, private developers, wildlife trusts and the Environment Agency.

The role offers flexibility professionally and personally to work on a mixture of interesting projects with structured progression and the opportunity of working hybrid.
The role is suited to both experienced Design Manager applicants as well as those who wish to move away from the day-to-day engineering/site management and into a hybrid role.
Design Manager responsibilities:
* Producing technical drawings and phasing plans
* Advising with design reviews and changes
* Supporting with temporary works drawings
* Input into tender quality submissions
* Managing the design process from start to finish
