Hydraulic Technician Pay: £42K– £47K per annum Hrs: Mon-Thu: 7:30am-4pm, Fri: 7:30am-2pm Driver Hire Aberdeen are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join their Assets & Operations team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will play a key role in the build, maintenance, testing, commissioning and operational readiness of hydraulic and mechanical systems across specialist offshore and onshore equipment. The role is primarily workshop-based and focused on hydraulic power units (HPUs), pipework, hose assemblies, valves, cylinders and associated hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities * Build and install hydraulic systems including HPUs, manifolds, pipework and hose assemblies * Carry out hydraulic maintenance, inspection and refurbishment work * Perform flushing, pressure testing, commissioning and FAT/SIT activities * Diagnose hydraulic faults including leaks, pressure loss and system inefficiencies * Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings * Support mobilisation, demobilisation and equipment readiness activities * Complete testing records, checklists and workshop documentation accurately * Work safely and effectively within HSEQ standards at all times Requirements * Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering * Hydraulic Training Level 2 (BFPA or equivalent) * Proven hydraulic systems ...
