Job Description
3. Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-60 payroll clients
4. Using Sage 50 (experience is not essential)
5. Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
6. Complete pension submissions and CIS returns
7. Post payroll journals where required
8. Support clients with holiday pay recording and statutory calculations (e.g. SMP, redundancy, SSP)
9. Ensure all payroll reports and submissions are completed within deadlines
10. Keep up to date with payroll legislation (e.g. NMW, SMP, SSP)
11. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
The Successful Applicant
12. Proven work experience as a payroll professional
13. Strong understanding of payroll processes and requirements
14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
15. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
16. Experience in completing CIS returns
