Gas Certified Field Service Engineers - Join Our Growing Team Employed or Self Employed! We are currently seeking a Gas Engineer to cover PO and some BN postcodes. Domex is hiring qualified Gas Engineer(s) to join our Kitchen Appliance Repair team, with a focus on repairing gas and dual-fuel cooking appliances. We are specifically seeking candidates who hold the CCN1 and CKR1 qualifications. If you have a solid technical foundation, then you will be provided with comprehensive training to enable you to be an expert Gas Cooking Appliance Repair Engineer. Please note that to be considered, you must currently reside in a PO postcode (or BN). This opportunity is offered as full time or part time, employed or self-employed.

What We’re Looking For
* CCN1 and CKRI qualified is essential; knowledge of electrical theory is advantageous.
* Hands-On Expertise: You’re comfortable working with tools and enjoy tackling hands-on tasks.
* Problem-Solving Enthusiast: You get a thrill from diagnosing faults and fixing technical issues.
* Eagerness to Learn: Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your skillset, Domex will train you to be an expert in domestic appliance gas cooking repair, with potential to train in other kitchen appliance repair.
* Customer Focus: You know how to communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they feel valued and confident in your work.
* Driving: A valid manual driving licence is required to travel between customer homes.
The Field Service Engineer (Gas) Role
* Diagnostics and repairs: Perform diagnostics and servicing repairs on kitchen appliances in customers' homes, specifically cooking appliances (gas, electric and dual-fuel).
* Local coverage: Visiting customers across your postcode area, zoned on a daily basis.
* Efficient job management: A user-friendly mobile app to manage your day, including parts intake, returns, tech info and job completion.
