2 Days a Week | Freelance | In-office - Brighton, Sussex Help ambitious, early-career Sales Reps deliver results for clients - and grow into confident sales professionals. Second Voice is a hands-on, outsourced telesales team for ambitious businesses that want new business without building a sales function in-house. We run the sales floor end-to-end: developing strategy, running outbound calls, making tactical shifts, booking meetings, and winning new opportunities for our clients. Along the way, we develop our reps - often from hospitality, retail, and client services - into commercially sharp, high-performing salespeople. Our team is eager and learning fast. They’re already using the phone to drive client growth, but need structure, clarity, and consistent coaching to level up. If you’ve walked the telesales walk, managed early-career teams, and can combine floor leadership with structured skills coaching, we’d love to meet you. The Role We’re looking for a fractional Sales Team Lead to work 2 days a week from our Brighton office. You’ll be the heartbeat of the team - part coach, part tactician, part motivator - building confidence, structure, and commercial results from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for: Setting activity KPIs and output targets per rep, based on client account Using our tools to assess skills, spot gaps, and coach towards goals Establishing rituals (stand-ups, check-ins, incentives) to drive focus and momentum Leading weekly team training and 1:1 coaching Bringing energy, motivation, and structure to the floor Keeping culture fun, supportive, and performance-driven - no burnout, no boredom What Makes This Team Special We’re not a training business - our reps are on the phones every day delivering measurable results for clients in industries like SaaS, apprenticeships, and office renovation. Who You Are You’ve walked the walk - as a rep and manager - and now combine frontline experience with the ability to design and deliver training that works in the real world. You might describe yourself like this: “I’ve been on the phones. I’ve led teams. I know what makes a great sales team - and I love building them.” You bring energy without shouting - lifting the room with presence, not volume. You can design frameworks and training - then coach them live with empathy and energy. You’ve moved naturally from sales into enablement or coaching - you don’t just sell, you develop sellers. You bring structure without stiffness - creating targets and feedback loops that motivate, not micro-manage. You know early-career reps need more than dashboards - they need clarity, encouragement, and accountability. You’re commercially minded but not commission-obsessed - confidence and consistency drive results. Bonus points if you’ve worked with early-career reps or in scrappy, ambitious startups.
