Rural Surveyor - Winchester
I am working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary property and consultancy practice that is looking to appoint an experienced Rural Surveyor to strengthen its Rural Consultancy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a varied role, long-term progression and the chance to work closely with landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses.
The Role
This is a full-time position with flexible working options available. The salary will be highly competitive, reflecting the successful candidate's experience, qualifications and skill set.
The role is broad and rewarding and will include responsibility for:
1. Delivery of professional rural consultancy advice
2. Land, farm and estate management services
3. Purchase, sale and letting of estates, farms, land and commercial property
4. Planning and development consultancy
5. Advice on environmental and agri-environment schemes
6. Managing and developing graduates, including APC mentoring and coaching
7. Working collaboratively with colleagues across related disciplines such as sales, lettings, architecture and planning

The Ideal Candidate
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a RICS-accredited degree and will hold:
8. Full Membership of RICS
9. Fellowship of the CAAV
10. Relevant post-qualification experience (PQE)
You will also ideally demonstrate:
11. A strong track record in rural property valuations, professional rural services and land, farm or estate management
12. Experience mentoring or supporting graduates working towards APC and/or CAAV qualifications
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients and colleagues
14. Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
15. Initiative, motivation and an innovative, solutions-focused mindset
16. Ability to win work and contribute to business development, supported by an existing or developing professional network
17. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including SharePoint and Teams), mapping software, and ideally property management systems
